You Just Never Know

5:58 am Random Thoughts

Yesterday I called a client for an appointment.  At first I couldn’t get a hold of her, then she eventually called me back in tears letting me know that her two daughters had been in a car wreck and one had died.  It was a very sad thing to hear.

This made me think though: you just never know when something like that will happen to yourself or someone you love.  It made me think that each day I should make sure that I treat my wife and kids the best that I can, because I never know if today will be the last day that I see them.

Can you imagine if you lost someone and the last thing you said to them was something in anger?  That would be just heart breaking.  But we can all try to make sure that isn’t the case with us and our loved ones.  So if you have a fight, find a way to resolve it and resolve it quickly.  Because you just never know…

true. you never know. time flies by so quickly, and random events can change lives in mere moments. so i guess that just reminds us that it’s important to give importance to the persons who make our lives meaningful, give them time. and try not to get caught up in the mere day to day.

Yes we never know, being nice and kind to people is a virtue, but death cannot determine the meaning of life like to junkyard cannot determine cost or performance of a car.

I totally agree. That is a very sad story and something that I too thought about very recently when we lost a dear friend of the family. He was here one day and gone the next, unexpectedly. I always want to go to bed with a kiss goodnight and no fighting. Same thing too before I leave to go to work each morning!
