Working Two Jobs Get’s Old Really Quick

5:58 pm Just Random!

So for the next two weeks I’ll be working two jobs.  The only reason why is because I’m actually transitioning to one job, but I figured why not make a little extra money?

For those of you that regularly work 2 jobs, I have to say that I have a new found respect for you.  Admittedly, if I was in a position where it was absolutely necessary, I could do it.  But it does get very old.

So for those of you that do it on a regular basis, my hat is off to you and I hope that you don’t have to do it for that much longer!

How’s that for a random post???

I worked two jobs for six months. The other was 40 hours a week and the other was 30 hours a week. I totally burnt out during that period. Thank god I found a better paying job 40 hours a week paying the same I got from the two jobs.

I’ve been working two jobs for most of my adult life, not because I necessarily need to but because I can actually earn more per hour doing freelance work and still get the benefit of a 401k and medical coverage from my day job. It definitely does suck to have to think about coming home at the end of a long day and doing more work, though.

    Not random at all!

I lose so much sleep due to having to play so many different roles. One night I came home at 2am from my second job of the day knowing I’d have to be up writing for several more hours. That said, it is just a NECESSITY for some people to go above and beyond (if that is how you think about it) in order to make ends meet, or in my case, to continue to cultivate important skills and contacts.

One job is enough. But if you are really the typical type, you would strive more to excel and reach what you really want. As far as having a job, even part time and making money is concerned, you can also try google money master, it’s a great money making opportunity for you. It pays really well and is very profitable. Try it yourself and see what good can it do for you.

If I am being asked whether it is feasible to work two jobs ,the answer is yes, but it does take careful planning and it can be emotionally exhausting.

First you need to make sure the extra hours are worth it. You need to make sure you are covered tax wise as well. It can be draining to work two jobs that make you think, but physically exhausting to work one that requires heavy labor. If you are working two jobs you need to make sure you continue to get enough sleep, exercise and eat well or you will not last long. Finally you should have an end in sight. Working two jobs should not be a permanent solution. If you know how long you need to do it, it is much easier to stick to your plan.
