Working Two Jobs Get’s Old Really Quick

5:58 pm Just Random!

So for the next two weeks I’ll be working two jobs.  The only reason why is because I’m actually transitioning to one job, but I figured why not make a little extra money?

For those of you that regularly work 2 jobs, I have to say that I have a new found respect for you.  Admittedly, if I was in a position where it was absolutely necessary, I could do it.  But it does get very old.

So for those of you that do it on a regular basis, my hat is off to you and I hope that you don’t have to do it for that much longer!

How’s that for a random post???

I worked two jobs for six months. The other was 40 hours a week and the other was 30 hours a week. I totally burnt out during that period. Thank god I found a better paying job 40 hours a week paying the same I got from the two jobs.

I work two jobs and I can say that it is a lot of hard because I’m in the sixth month of pregnancy. My husband can not find a job and I work for both.

I’ve been working two jobs for most of my adult life, not because I necessarily need to but because I can actually earn more per hour doing freelance work and still get the benefit of a 401k and medical coverage from my day job. It definitely does suck to have to think about coming home at the end of a long day and doing more work, though.

I worked two jobs once…for a whole two weeks. I coulnd’t deal with the lack of free time.

    Not random at all!

I lose so much sleep due to having to play so many different roles. One night I came home at 2am from my second job of the day knowing I’d have to be up writing for several more hours. That said, it is just a NECESSITY for some people to go above and beyond (if that is how you think about it) in order to make ends meet, or in my case, to continue to cultivate important skills and contacts.

The only time I actually enjoyed working two jobs was when my second job was as security at a night club. The obvious “perks” made it seem less of a chore and the money was good.

In the new economy, working two or three jobs will be the norm. But if you pick the right side jobs you can develop a few new skills that will help your career and your wallet.

Less haste more speed - overwork catches up on you and makes you less productive, more ill and therefore poorer.

One job is enough. But if you are really the typical type, you would strive more to excel and reach what you really want. As far as having a job, even part time and making money is concerned, you can also try google money master, it’s a great money making opportunity for you. It pays really well and is very profitable. Try it yourself and see what good can it do for you.

I work two jobs. Both of them are on a self employed basis.

I find that although it can be tiring, the money’s good. The best part is the second job I can do from home so it’s almost like i’m not working.

I agree, two jobs is a killer. If they are what you are really passionate about however it may not be such a bad thing. Although you may feel a whole lot less passionate about them.

I totally respect those who works 2 jobs. I can only imagine it to be very draining. If you really need the extra money, why not get a job, and invest in something liquid like silver or gold? That way, you’re working in your job and your investments are working for you.
