Why Would You Supercharge?
October 13, 2008 9:51 am Just Random! So honestly, have you ever asked yourself if you should supercharge your car? I mean honestly wouldn’t it be kinda fun to have a supercharged car? When was the last time that you needed to get ahead of another car to get over into the other lane or something, but you just couldn’t do it because you car didn’t have the guts? I only say this because that has honestly happened to me at least 2 times in the last 2 weeks.

That is so funny. I was just telling my wife today on the way home how we need to supercharge our S2000. Unfortunately, no go until it is no longer our daily driver. I’ll just have to live with 240 HP

Wow, with that many miles on your commute you could use the supercharge!

I am also contemplating on supercharging my ride. I want that extra power so I would have more fun driving.

hubby was talking about having a supercharged car just the other night. lol!

Because a supercharger adds that extra juice for your engine. Plus it’s more responsive than a turbo charger.

yeah i thought about it just for fun. you always have that good feeling when you know you supercharged your car.

If you’re planning to supercharge, I’d rather turbocharge instead. It’s a much more efficient way of forced induction, and sounds pretty cool too

The good thing about superchargers is that the dealers are starting to warranty your car even with the supercharger. This is especially true with Toyota, and their TRD program. Good stuff.

Any car can benefit from a supercharger. The great thing is that power adders now a days such as superchargers don’t have to hurt fuel economy… if you watch your led foot you might actually gain a few MPG

I agree with you AEM. If you have the resources to put one, then why not. I think the question here should be what type or brand of supercharger should you have and will your choice be compatible with your car.
