WALL-E: Another Great Pixar Movie?

8:26 am Movies, TV and Music

WALL-EI don’t know if you’ve seen the trailer for this, but I think it looks like it’s going to be another great Pixar movie!  Rather than explaining what the story is about, I’ll say just watch the trailer.  But it looks like a fun robot love story / adventure.

One thing I think is great about Pixar is that they seriously make some of the most creative movies.  Think about the idea behind stories like Monsters Inc., the super heroes being sued in The Incredibles, a fish adventure like Finding Nemo… all very original, very great ideas!  And now they’re doing a robot love story…  I’m excited to see it.

So check out the trailer and let me know what you think!

Wow, that robot reminds me of the one in Short Circuit. You’re right about Pixar, though. They’re not just great animators, they’re some of the most original storytellers around. I wish there were more writers like that in Hollywood.

I don’t know what it is about Pixar animations, but they just getter better with repeated viewings.

I’m still a Monsters Inc fan, but I hoping Wall-E is going to top it.

It sounds a little darker than their other stuff – apparently the robot spends years on his own wandering about.

I think with the advent of Pixar I like animated films more now than I did when I was a kid. Then again, I didn’t have an HD TV when I was a kid either, so that might have something to do with it. These movies now kick the ass of Flintstones on a black and white 13 inch. :)

I have yet to see this trailer, but I honestly cannot think of a Pixar which I did not enjoy. They may not all have really made me say wow, but you can count on anything out of that studio to be better than average.

I wish these studios would go back to regular 2d animation. Maybe people miss it and thats why anime is so popular now. Oh well as long as the story is interesting and the humor is good.

    Mmmmmmmmmmm. Thai food.

All restaurants all the time. Of course, I’d have to look up which were ‘the best’ - but that doesn’t always mean the most expensive.

I love dives. Not sure about Bangkok dives though.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Thai food. Your post is making me hungry.

This movie’s going to be huge. I don’t care if the robot ever talks in the movie (I think he’s only said one word in the teaser and trailer). The way he moves and those eyes are enough just to sell me on this movie.
