V for Vendetta

6:08 am Movies, TV and Music

I know I’m a little behind the times on this one, but I finally saw V for Vendetta over the weekend. I’ve been wanting to see it for some time now, but just never got around to it.

So what did I think of it? I thought this movie was awesome! Honestly I’ll have to watch it again to really get all of what’s going on, but I thought it was a really good movie. In a lot of ways it reminded me of Equilibrium, at least there were some similarities with all these different things being on the blacklist.

One of the coolest things about this movie is how Hugo Weaving put so much emotion into his acting behind a mask. Just based on the way he would move his head you could tell how V was feeling, even though his face is a solid mask.

Anyway, really cool movie. I’d highly recommend it!

YES! His acting was spectacular. I know it was a comic first, but the mask itself was pretty arresting.

I saw V for Vendetta a few months ago and I too really liked it. I haven’t seen Equillibrium though, maybe I should check that out next time I get a movie…

I thought the idea of the movie was cool, but ultimately, it didn’t grab as much as I was willing it too.

Looks like a good movie. I remember Hugo Weaving from The Matrix. I haven’t seen movies in so long..too much work.

hmmm… honestly, i didn’t really like the movie because i found the middle part kinda dragging and the ending is a bit cheesy (distributing the mask to people) for my liking. sorry… though i have to agree with you with regards to Hugo’s acting, the body movement and voice conveyed the emotions…

I watched this movie a few months ago. This movie has appeal, energy and has very good actors in it. When I got this movie I was not expecting that the movie will turn to be good.

I saw half of this movie, and what I did see was really amazing! I haven’t seen Equilibrium yet, but I really do want to see it.

I’m a little more behind the times than you because I haven’t seen it, although I’ve been wanting too. Come to think about it, the last movie I saw was The Lord of the Rings’ Return of the King so I’m MORE than a little behind the times.

I caught the movie last month on HBO. I enjoyed it a lot. The Guy Fawkes mask was a very nice touch…and doggone it, I really HATED to have to stare at Natalie Portman for two hours. It’s a hard job…but SOMEBODY has to do it. ;-)

V for Vendetta is one of my favourite films. There are some quotes from the film, which are in my head all the time. “By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.” “A man on my on heart.” Amazing movie with a stunning Hugo Weaving.

I felt as if the movie dragged on. I wasn’t a fan personally.

Sci-fi movies really aren’t for me. I saw this with a friend and slept through it.

Way behind the times on this one hehe. I liked the movie although she is much better looking with hair. I liked the overall story line and the action wasn’t to bad.
