Thoughts On The Seasons

I find the question, “What is your favorite season” to be a funny one. I know that some people love the Spring. Others love Fall. And then there are a few random people that really really like the Winter. I’m the kind of person that I like all of the seasons, at least at the beginning.
Maybe I’m just indecisive. But when Summer starts, I’m usually really excited for it. Then, when it’s getting really really hot, I’ve decided that I’m done with Summer and want it to be Fall. Then Fall comes and its all nice and dandy, but after a while I kinda wish it would be Summer again.
Does anyone else go through this?
I remember as a kid I was always really really excited for Winter to come. It meant snow forts, skiing, and all sorts of fun stuff. Even up to 3 years ago I would still look forward to Winter. This year though, I’m not as excited for it as I have been in the past. I guess the next couple of weeks will show how I really feel about it.

As a kid I would wake up early and look out the window every morning to see if there was any snow. Now i just can’t wait for the trucks to plow the roads so i don’t end up in a snow bank somewhere along the road.

I love the winter, myself. Falling snow feels like there’s a coat of magic being laid out across the Earth. And it makes the mountains look gorgeous. The only thing I don’t like is the long days with no sunlight.

I enjoy all seasons. I love the colors of fall, the snow in the winter(as long as I am inside near the cozy fire), the smells and flowers of spring and the beautiful nights in summer.

It’s good for the heart, head and soul. We have many activities during Winter like building snow castle, snowman and snowball fight. You can also play hockey and ice skating. I love Winter very much.

Growing up in an area with a lot of snow made me really look forward to summer and no snow at all. Now that I moved to a part of Canada with just rain during winter I really look forward to clear, sunny winter days and snow. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.

I’m exactly the same, exact when it comes to winter. I’m never excited about winter, even at the beginning - I hate the cold. LOL.

I just take the seasons as they come. I don’t have too much of a preference. Each has its own strength.

I’ve been around the Air Force my whole life … first as a dependent, then active duty myself. We’ve lived all around the world. No matter where I’m at Fall has always been my overall favorite season (even here in Hawaii).
I do hear what you’re saying about the beginning of seasons always seeming better though. Even winter is fun … until the 3rd ice storm (remembered from my time in IL)

i live in arizona, our seasons are: mild, warm, hot, and blast furnace. right now we are in mild. it’s hard to get into the christmas spirit when i’m wearing shorts and a t-shirt (and no socks).

Especially early morning when sun rises in the winter…the snow will automatically disappears. I love to walk in such a nice atmosphere……

i really love winter specially because of we dont have rain and hot atmosphere. specially i like to go for exercise at early morning.

I am now enjoying every minute in my life. But when was a student I wished, summer to come faster as it was the time for holidays.
