Thinking Again About Christmas Photo Cards
November 5, 2008 3:32 pm Just Random!I know I wrote about this awhile ago, but now that it’s November, I’m really starting to think more and more about possibly doing some Christmas photo cards as gifts this year.
It would sort of go along with my wife and I’s theme of doing a homemade Christmas this year. Christmas cards are nice and really do give more of a person touch to Christmas, which is why we thought about doing a homemade Christmas.
Some of our ideas: I might make a duct tape wallet for my Dad and one of my brothers, and my wife has a few ideas that she’s working on as well. All going with the homemade idea!
I also know that I’ve talked about VistaPrint before, and right now they have a special going on for Christmas photo cards. A lot of the designs are half off! And besides, if you’re really going to do Christmas photo cards you’ll want to get them done early so that people at least get them before Christmas!
If you’ve never ordered anything from VistaPrint before, it’s really quite easy. They have a lot of predefined templates you can use to make things even easier for you. So if you haven’t, check out there site and see what they can do for you!

I think that having a homemade Christmas is a nice change if you have the time to do it. It is always nice to receive something more personal and less commercial.

ut instead it has become the dog poop zone. Every morning that’s where all the dog owners go and let their animals do their thing. And then don’t pick it up!

When you adjust this gradient, start in the middle of the fold shape, hold Shift, and drag out to the bottom right of the fold at a 45 degree angle.

VistaPrint should give you a decent commission, especially since you have promoted their Christmas photo cards a few times on this site.
A duct tape wallet? WTF? I’ll have to research that; thanks!

Duct tape, or duck tape, is cloth- or scrim-backed pressure sensitive tape often sealed with polyethylene. It is very similar to gaffer tape but differs in that gaffer tape was designed to be cleanly removed, while duct tape was not. It has a standard width of 17⁄8 inches and is generally silver or black but also available in other colors. Permacel, formerly a division of Johnson & Johnson, originally developed duct tape in 1942 during World War II as a rubber-based adhesive tape with a durable fabric backing that resisted water for use as sealing tape on ammunition cases. Because of these properties, it was also used to repair military equipment quickly, including jeeps, firearms, and aircraft. Hell, even NASA engineers and astronauts have used duct tape in the course of their work, including in some emergency situations.
Oh yeah, the main topic on this post was about Christmas Photo Cards; ha-ha!
