The Weather is Officially Annoying Me
April 11, 2008 11:15 am Random GripingsI was all excited to go for a nice walk this weekend with our new jogging stroller, but now I’m wondering if that will even be possible. Why you may ask? Because we got another inch of snow last night!
So now it’s about noon and the snow has all melted away. Maybe I should just move to San Diego where I hear the temperature is much more stable year round…but then again I’d have to pay for the higher gas prices and everything else for living in California…nevermind!
I guess in the end I just wish the seasons would behave. I really wasn’t expecting to see an inch of snow in mid April. And I thought that we were all suffering from Global Warming! If that was the case, why would I see snow in April? Who knows, who knows.
I just hope the weather stays nice so my wife and I can start jogging again. I’m really looking forward to that!

I am constantly annoyed by the weather. I live in Toronto Canada, and it just takes so long for spring to arrive! This time of year is a tease. Warm some days, cold the next. And then more snow!

I’ve was out recently with our baby in a jogging stroller. Unfortunately the sun hood that is suppose to keep the sun off the babies face, is too small. So we jog with a blanket on the front.

Here in the UK we have had snow twice in the last week, hailstones also a few times. Today was lovely though, go figure. The weather is so screwed up maybe this does have something to do with global warming, no regularity to it.

You just can’t count on the weather these days. But I think it’s important not to place too much blame on bad weather from keeping you doing the activities that you want to do. A lot of people just need an excuse not to exercise–I do this way too often!

We here too are waiting for better weather. We also had snow this weekend. Hopefully by next weekend we can get out and start training for the 5K here.

In Mexico the weather is going crazy too. Last week was so sunny and hot (as it is supposed to be at this season) but now is cold and rainy. I hate it.

I have noted that the seasons seem to be off by one month. Winter doesn’t start until January but ends in April, Fall leaves are on the trees until thanksgiving, and so on. It seems that mother nature is confused. This has been the trend for the last 2 or 3 years.

Went from blooming trees and Azaleas to frost warnings and winter jackets. Get me to May then things become more predictable!

You should move to California! We have very beautiful cities. San Diego is nice but even nicer is San Francisco! Clean air. Never too hot and no need for a car because the public transportation is so good in San Francisco! Using the jogging stroller in the Bay Area is nice with all that fresh air.

By the way, funny you should mention a jogging stroller. I bought one for my neices’ baby shower yesterday.
