The Baby Slept All Night Long!!!
April 15, 2008 8:24 am Random NewsLast night was something to be remembered: our newborn (well, technically he’s over 2 months old now) actually slept through the night! Now admittedly he’s done this one other time, but I figured it was just a fluke. Now he’s done it twice, so I’m getting some hope that more normal nights are on the horizon!
For anyone that has never had a baby, I would have to say that the first month and a half to two months are probably the hardest. It gets really tiring when you have to get up every 2-3 hours to help your wife with the baby. Not fun. But after about 2 months things seem to normalize a little bit more.
Who knows, maybe sometime soon I’ll actually get a whole 3 days of normal sleep! Now that would be awesome!

Congratulations!
Our nephew (1 1/2 months old) is still crying through the night, and his parents can’t wait until he sleeps so that they can finally get some sleep too!
Congratulations, I hope this continues for you and your family!

I remember when my newborn cried all day long. ever seen those people that say their babies are angels and sleep all day etc…
my daughter wasnt. we went on a Costa Rica vacation to Arenal and we requested a crib, luckily they had one!, but Rebecca started crying all night.
At 3 am in the morning we got a call from the front desk… all the adjacent rooms were complaining on the noise.
at 4 am she started sleeping. so I can totally identify myself with your situation

Hey there. You dont know me but i found your site while surfing the web.
Its so wonderful to hear your baby slept through the night! I remember how much relief i felt when my daughter FINALLY slept the entire night. Things get a lot easier when they start sleeping the entire night, thats for sure. Anyway, take care! x

Right, I think that’s the hardest stage. But after few months, you will get a normal sleep. Well, I guess it’s quiet hard but it’s a pleasure having a baby.

Not what I want to read really! I have 2 sons, one is just turned 3 years old and the other 18 months, they both bloody wake up at least once every night if not twice.
I envy you!
