I have to say, I think that VistaPrint is really cool. I remember a couple of years ago I picked up some free business cards from them and was actually quite impressed. I think we might have even done some regular ones through them that my wife designed once upon a time too.

Well, another service that they have is custom sticky notes. Talk about cool! I’d love to have a little stack of sticky notes with my company logo on it. But then again, I guess first I’d have to come up with a cool logo. First things first right?

Anyway, I think that this is a really cool idea for any business. It’s a good, fun way to do some branding. As with anything VistaPrint does they have a lot of pre-designed templates you can choose from or you can design your own.

A Pretty Cool Idea for Advertising Yourself

For those of you that work for yourself or have a business you have to promote, you know that marketing is essential. One area that I know a lot of people struggle with is targeting their advertising online. Should you do paid ads, geo-targeted SEO, or what.

Well, there is a new site out called MyCityFaces.com that is another idea for getting your name out there. What they do is they let you list yourself for free in your region so that people can find you. The idea is pretty new, but I think it’s a pretty good idea and if it really does take off could bring you some good notice!

There seem to be quite a few of these sites coming out these days, and I hope that they take off because I really do think it would be great for local professionals. One of the problems people run into when looking for services online is keeping it local. Well, sites like MyCityFaces.com can help alleviate that pain. Car Door Magnets!

I’ve used VistaPrint for things in the past like business cards, and if you have a business where you need some business cards they do a really good job! They have a bunch of free templates you can use, or you can design your own as well. My wife designed a really cool one for me that I was using for a project I was doing a few years ago.

Well now they also offer door magnets! These seem to be a good thing for some on the road promotion of your business. It seems that everywhere you go these days you see a car with a magnet or window stickers promoting their business. I’m sure it’s great for getting a tax write-off as well.

Just for fun I used their design tool and did a car magnet for this site. Granted, I don’t think I’d ever do a car magnet for this blog, but it was fun anyway! This is one of their free templates (which they had a lot to choose from), but you can also upload your own images as well.

Anyway, VistaPrint is great for getting all the stuff you need to promote a business whether it be business cards, announcements, rubber stamps, checks, and now they also have car door magnets. They have great prices too, so I’d check them out if you need that stuff!
