Silly Rabbit, Trix are for ME!

Ever since I was a kid I loved Trix. So for our anniversary one of the presents that my wife got me was a box of Trix! Not a bad present, I haven’t had this stuff for years.
The crazy thing about Trix is that I could honestly eat a whole box in one sitting. They really just aren’t that filling, but they sure are good!
What’s really crazy is that I used to eat this kind of cereal when I was growing up. Some of my other favorites included Cap’n Crunch Crunch Berries, Froot Loops, etc. I like a few of the ‘healthier’ ones like Chex, Rice Krispies, and Corn Flakes, but for the most part I loved the sugar cereals. But then again, what kid didn’t? But what do I eat for breakfast now a days? Bran Flakes. Does that mean I’m getting old, because I actually like Bran Flakes?

Bran Fakes and Oatmeal is as exciting as cereals get when you’re older. But i don’t think you’re that old yet.
I used to love milk with 5 spoons of Nesquik, and 5 years down the line, unsweetened milk tastes as good.
I seem to think of it as the maturing of the pallate.

Ah the Trix rabbit. I now replaced milk with vanilla yogurt every morning. Even better!

I’m also a cereal-lover. Trix is one of my favorite cereals. It’s sweet and kids would love it. I ate this a couple of weeks ago, i tried putting civet cat coffee instead of milk in my Trix cereal bowl and the taste of both coffee and cereal are quite match for me.

Ha-ha! It is not everyday i run across a blog post talking about kids cereal… I never ate much Trix, and was weird I suppose, since I always liked the healthy cereals. I did like a few sweet cereals like Corn Pops and Captains Crunch and Frosted Flakes, but was more into the bran, oats and grain type cereals.
Now that I’m an adult, I don’t eat cereal at all. Well, they say there is cereal grains in beer, so that should count for something…

I liked honey combs when I was a kid. I am not sure how much sugar they had in them, but they where good. I also liked Muselix, brand flakes with trail mix.
