Resources That Come in Handy

3:47 pm Just Random!

One thing I love about the internet is that it’s so easy to get information when you need it.  For example, let’s say you were looking for a Myrtle Beach realtor. All you have to do is go online and there are plenty of directories and other things that will help you find those kinds of professionals or other things that you need!

Speaking of Myrtle Beach, I hear it’s a wonderful place to visit. I’ve never actually been there, but hopefully I’ll make it out east again some day and maybe I’ll check it out. Maybe I’ll even look into some Myrtle Beach real estate if I like it enough!

Yet I digress…my main point is simply that things like phone books and the like are becoming more and more obsolete because of the internet. And its a good thing if you ask me!  Personally I hate getting those new phone books on my doorstep every year!

Totally agree. I’ve had the same experience when I’ve looked up random, esoteric things that I would have never imagined there would be resources for online! I was looking up a list of quotes because I couldn’t remember Parkinson’s law, and I found a page that listed ALL the common tech “laws” (Moore’s law, etc).

I thought it was funny you mentioned losing the phone book because I use the online white pages in my daily work and couldn’t imagine having to have every phone book nationally in my office. Online they are all at my finger-tips.

Twizzed.com is completely random. It takes you to a random website! A useful tool for analysing webpage designs. Have you Twizzed yet?

Myrtle Beach is a great place to visit. I’ve been there several times and had a blast. I’d avoid going on a holiday because traffic is crazy.

Resources are wonderful as long as one knows not to believe all that pops up online. Cool article!

    Hey Dan,

Javea is an awesome place to have beach estates too.. It is situated in Spain, Costa Blanca. An ideal vacation home.
