Reliable Web Hosting

10:59 am Random Reviews

When you’re starting up a website, it’s very important that you have a good and reliable web host.  The problem is that there are so many to choose from!

I’m using a particular host, but honestly I think of changing it from time to time.  So as I’ve been thinking about this I’ve been checking out different ones from time to time.  One that’s been around for quite some time is Network Solutions.

Network Solutions overs a variety of web hosting services to match your individual needs. They also have a few great characteristics such as:

  • 99.99% UNIX uptime reliability
  • 30-day money back guarantee
  • Award-winning customer service
  • Free domain name
  • Website building tools
  • Website marketing tools

One of the other things to consider when it comes to choosing a web host is the cost. For example, right now I’m doing month to month hosting for about $7 a month. With Network Solutions it is $9.96 a month. Now, this isn’t such a big deal if they can justify the cost, and having a really reliable up time can be worth it.

Another thing to compare would be the amount of space that they give you and bandwidth. Honestly, I haven’t done any direct comparisons but that would be another factor in determining if a particular host is worth the price.

Anyway, if you’re looking for hosting, Network Solutions is one to look into!

Talk about a timely post! I’ve been up and down, mainly down, for two days now, and all my websites are taking a beating. I’m thinking about changing also, and one that seems to make most top 10 lists is Bluehost, so I’m looking deeper into that one.

I would say you can compare space/bandwidth, but mostly to see who is overselling. If a hosting company is offer A TON of space and bandwidth, for REALLY LOW PRICE, you should probably not go with them as they probably putting too many accounts on that server.

Remember to check also for the uptime of their internet connection. Unix uptime is not important when the uplink is down :p

I use hostgator and proud domains, and I have never had any problems with either. Although I heard from somebody recently that they are having trouble with hostgator.

This post is very true. We have had to change our host server at least 3 times in the past 6 months and I think we have finally found a good reliable one. It makes all the difference when you find a server that caters to your needs.

hmm interesting blog! you said that it is about the bandwidth and space that they give us.

But can you just tell me that on what factors they determine the bandwidth and space for a particular site.

I’ve tried loads of companies and now I stick with Godaddy and use godaddy codes to save money.
If anyone needs some, here they are:
    RRTV1 - 10% off
    RRTV2 - $5 off $30 or more
    RRTV3 - $7.49 .COM’s and works on renewals.

    very cool blog!!!
