One of the Best Burgers I’ve Ever Had!
August 22, 2008 12:00 pm Food
So last night my wife and I decided to go to Chili’s. We had a gift certificate that we haven’t used yet, so we figured why not.
Now honestly I haven’t been to Chili’s in quite a while, and in the past I’ve just thought that they were ok. So this time I decided to try one of their burgers and I ended up going with the Jalapeno Smokehouse Bacon Big Mouth Burger.
IT WAS SO GOOD!
I’m a big fan of Fuddrucker’s, but this burger I think rivaled that even. The bacon on it was really thick, the jalapenos were more flavor than they were spice (just how I like them), and just had a great flavor to it!
So if you’re in the mood for a burger, either go to Fuddrucker’s or get this Jalapeno Burger from Chili’s!

This reminds me of something called the colon clogger near my house. 1/4 lb cheese 1/4 bacon 1.5 lbs of meat. Amazing hah

We have something like that here called Dangerous Dans.
Like its a 1.5lb burger and if you eat it in under 7 mins its free! Also it comes with a side of fries

I don’t understand why some people dislike giving gift certificates as gifts. They feel they are too impersonal….but I love enjoying something I want and having someone else pay for it! And I love Chili’s. That burger looks yummy!

I don’t think that we have chili’s here in Canada, or at least in Quebec. But if I ever go to the USA (you need an ABOUT page because I’m not even sure you’re from there!) I’ll try it.

I’m still partial to the burgers over at Ruby Tuesday’s. They’ve got a killer burger similar to this with bacon, fried onions, bbq sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion. I think that’s what i’ll get for lunch!

I haven’t been to Chili’s in quite a while, myself. It’s funny how you mention feeling like your prior experiences were just “ok”; that describes my sentiments exactly! Haha.
Maybe I need to follow your lead and give them another shot. I *do* love jalapenos…

I love Chili’s! My favorite though is their Trio for appetizers. The chicken crispers, wings and southwest rolls (or something, I don’t even know what they are, but they taste great!)

Their burgers are probaby the best thing on their menu. They are big and juicy. That picture is making me hungry.

thats crazy.
chilis definitely has gone through a change, got a new menu and everything, but i went there a while ago, and wasn’t impressed at all.
they dropped one of my three chicken tenders on the ground, and the waitress asked me if i wanted another one.
so, maybe it was a bad experience, i’d give it a shot again, glad you had a good burger.
