My Parents Went to China!

2:20 pm Just Random!

So this last weekend my parents got back from their 2 week trip to China.  I haven’t been able to get all of the details from them yet, but it sounds like it was a really awesome trip.

I have to be honest: one place that I’d really love to go to sometime is Japan.  There’s just something about the Asian architecture and culture that I’ve always thought was pretty cool.  Maybe sometime I’ll make it over there, but I know it isn’t going to be any time soon.

My mom did say that the coolest thing that they saw there was the Great Wall.  That has to be an impressive thing to see.  So I guess in a sense I’m a little jealous, but not too much… I’ll make it sometime.

I hear China is a nice place to go. I have never been there yet. But your idea about Japan is probably better. They have a very quick bullet train. There are alot of Noodle Shops.

Yeah, I think I’d rather go to Japan than China. Plus, every time I go in a Walmart and look around at the GM products, it feels like I’m in China anyway - since most of the products say “Made in China.” Ha!

China is one of the best places to visit. But if given the chance to travel it would be Egypt.

I guess the thing I’d like to visit Japan for is the high-speed internet! In Australia it’s really slow.

I have been to both China and Japan. Both places are cool but the difference for me was that Chinese people welcome people from all over the world. The Japanese are more of a closed society.

I went to China with a friend 2 years ago. The plane ride was the longest thing I’ve ever endured.

I don’t know about going to China but China has very definetly come to the rest of the world. In almost every town and city the world over there is a large and dynamic Chinese community, so samplig that culture may be a lot easier and a lot closer than people think.
