More Inexpensive Glasses

11:42 am Random Reviews

Personally, I’m a contacts wearer.  But I’ve also gone through my time of wearing regular glasses as well.  Actually, to be completely honest, I tend to go through phases every couple of years where I prefer one or the other.  Right now though I’m on a contacts kick.

Anyway, I was at the eye doctor’s office a week or two ago picking up my contacts, and this lady came in to pay for her glasses.  Guess how much she had to pay?  $400!!!  Now, I’m not sure how many frames she got or any other details, but they get expensive!

That’s why it’s great to have companies like ZenniOptical.com that sell quality glasses really cheap.  They just recently introduced a couple of new styles as well, so their offerings just keep on growing.

And they’re getting talked about all over the place!  I guess they’ve been featured on Fox News, and The Clark Howard Show.  Not bad for a company that just sells inexpensive eyeglasses.

So if you need some new glasses, this is one site you’re going to want to check out.  They have a really good selection of eyeglasses for men and women.  You can get metal ones, stainless steel, or plenty of other choices as well.

Seriously, forget cheap glasses! I just had LASIK done and it’s the best thing to happen to me. Think of how much you save in the long run (frame, time, repair, freedom, etc..) It’s about 20% cheaper in Canada for the low price if you can make your way up here.

I’ve thought about getting lasik, but I always worry about getting my eyes fried beyond repair. I’m probably just paranoid, and I’ll probably get it done eventually.

Yeah, I wear glasses too and the last time I went to get glasses, which were 5 years ago, at DOC, they costed me $600! I had no insurance as probably with that lady. Plus, it costs more when you add this thing to the lens to make them appear thinner.

Lasik surgery is temporary and their has been many complaints about this surgery. You mine as well get contacts which are waaaay cheaper!

Wow! That is quite the cost for a pair of glasses! I’m definitely a bigger fan of contacts than I am of glasses.

There are many factors involved in the tag price, you must consider skeleton material and lense technology.

With this in mind many weird price discrepances can be understood.

Good point. There are a lot of costs that go into things, but it’s great that ZenniOptical keeps it so low.

The hottest glasses for women are the Kazuo Kawasaki 704 which are the makers of Sarah Palin’s glasses. A lot of women know that men are going crazy over her looks.

So if like Sarah’s look, just buy your wife one of these.

I didn’t know that they were a specific type of look. huh..I’ll have to check that out..but then again my wife doesn’t wear glasses!

With my current insurance I only receive a 20% discount on eye wear. You can imagine how much my bill came to. I checked out this site I can get the same looking pair of glasses at more than half the price!

I tend to be skeptical of cheap glasses. I know this much: stay away from Bill Blass glasses!

I had a pair of these and they broke within a year. I take the back and the employees say this is the norm for Bill Blass. Pretty sad.

I always prefer to keep multiple pairs of glasses around at one time, so having an affordable option is certainly appealing.

Thanks for the resource for inexpensive glasses. Those stainless steel ones sound pretty nifty, especially if the price is cheap. Another good thing about glasses, is that they protect your eyes.

Yeah, eye health is very important, along with corrected vision. I actually need to wear glasses, due to poor eyesight in one of my eyes, well, now both; blah!
Anyway, healthy eyes and inexpensive glasses to correct your vision, is also a good thing. And, as someone else already mentioned, glasses also help to protect your eyes.
