Major Snow Storms Hitting Everyone!
December 23, 2008 4:45 pm UncategorizedSo what ever happened to the idea of global warming? Not that I ever really believed in it anyway, but doesn’t the weather lately remind you of that dumb movie “The Day After Tomorrow”?
I don’t know about you but we just had 12 inches dumped on us over the last 36 hours or so. Last night I got stuck once I got into my complex and had to have 3 guys help me push my car out. Then I spent the next hour or so helping other people get unstuck or clearing out parking spaces. It’s been crazy!
One thing for sure though is that it now feels a lot more like Christmas since we now have snow. It will actually be a white Christmas! It seems like most of the last couple of years have been brown Christmases, so this should be nice.
Be safe everyone!

Many people say global warming is not a true phenomena and its just hype. There are many contradictory views. Just search google for “global warming scam” or something like that.
What exactly is true?

Global climatic warming is alarmingly true. We should not act like ostriches, which bury their heads in the sand when danger approaches. Let’s start giving our own contribution to greening the planet Earth. Because however small the effort is, it will all add up to be something big and helpful.

I’m not sure if i believe in global warming. Even if we try to be greener it won’t make a difference in my opinion because all the co2 we have been producing is just too much already. I just think we should just carry on as we have been and forget about it all.

As I’m not a fan of winter, particularly snowfall, I, too, question the “authenticity” of global warming as I confront another blizzard.
Despite my, at times, myopic view, I must acknowledge that scientists throughout the world note a slew of climatic changes, and point to the ever present Greenhouse effect.
We should try to be more environmentally conscious and more holistic in our practices, erring on the side of caution.
Secretly, I’m not opposed for our weather to increase 10 degrees — but only in the winter. I would be more than happy to never see snowfall again — but I realize that I can always move. Hawaii seems nice!
Best Regards,

Your myopic view? Erring on the side of caution? Secretly?
I hate to say it, but you’re an idiot, plain & simple… Ha-ha!

It is always good to be prepared with gas for the snow blower and salt for the drive well before you think it will snow. Better to be prepared.

Whether Global Warming is just a bunch of myths or not, we’ve finally had a mild winter this year where I’m from. Unless something changes next month, no major snow storms are hitting here, no myths, legends or folklore about it; ha!

People say that we don’t have enough info to decide if it is global warming causing this severe weather but I wager something is amiss. If you look at severe weather trends, you will find that many of the most active bad weather years span from the late 90s to today.
