Lost - One of the Greatest Shows Ever???

About a year ago my sister got me hooked on ABC’s Lost. I must say, I love this show. The only way I’ve watched it so far is getting the DVDs and watching the whole season. That way I don’t lose track of what’s going on and don’t freak out if I miss a week. But I think I’m going to start watching it the ‘regular way’ this season. Granted, I’ll still probably watch it online so I can watch it when I want to, but I’ll still keep up.
In my opinion there have been very few shows in the last couple of years or even decade that have been this good. It keeps you thinking, keeps you hooked, and is a downright good show. They have great actors playing the parts and the character development is awesome.
So if you haven’t checked this show out, don’t! Haha, at least not until you go back and watch the previous seasons. This is honestly one of those shows that is hard to jump into if you haven’t been watching it from the beginning.

I have to agree. My girlfriend and I have been hooked on Lost from day 1. I also have to recommend Prison Break. That’s another show we just can’t get enough of.
We’ll definitely have to try Heroes too… haven’t seen one episode of that. Thanks for the recommendation international!

I stopped watching lost after the second season. The scriptwriters didn’t really have a clear idea of how Lost should the story go that they put up a “what do you think, the island monster is?” questionnaire. It was a big turn off for me.

I’m in the minority. I lost complete interest when it appeared that the writers were just trying to constantly distract with something new.
What happened to the polar bears? The monster?

I love LOST. It’s one of those shows that have a movie type quality and production behind it. The season three finale totally surprised me. I can’t wait to see more of it.

I was addicted to the show back in the day. But the writers got carried away and went overboard with all those twists and lost interest. Hopefully, The new episode coming up will spark some interest for me.

I freakin’ LOVE this show! I have to agree with you that LOST is definitely one of the best shows to be on television in recent years.
As a fan since the first year. I must say that I am in envy of those who can just sit down and watch an entire season from start to finish in the same weekend.

I know what you mean about Lost. It took me two episodes to get hooked without a cure. DVD’s are a very good idea. I think I’m gonna invest some money and buy them all. This way I can re-watch everything.

Lost is great show for the way it handles the tension and very slowly answering questions…however I feel I’ll only consider it a great show once it has finished and see if the producers had it all planned out from the start, ie. it all ties together nicely!
