Kids Are Great…

4:55 pm Random Observations

One thing my wife and I agreed on this weekend is that my oldest son, who’s really only 2 1/2, is already showing a lot of qualities that he’s very much like me.  My wife even said that our other son is showing signs as well.  Here’s what she means:

  • Both of them will randomly just think they’re really funny, but no one else is sure why…
  • Our 2 year old could be happy in a locked phone booth with a broken phone, I’ve said the same of myself at times

Well, those are the only two that I can think of right now.  But really, kids are great.  We’re lucky to have two very happy little boys that are so cute with each other.  Our oldest son Brennen will walk up to our other son and say, “Oh hi Marshall!  Marshall’s awake!  Haha, Marshall funny!!!”  Then he’ll give him a kiss on the nose or something.

I have to admit that I’m really not very close to any of my brothers.  I’m sorta close to my younger sister, but all of this really makes me hope that my kids grow up as good friends and true brothers.  I don’t have much experience with that myself, so I’m hoping that we can teach our kids to be that way.

I love kids, I have two of them myself. They have grown up a bit (17 and 20) but they still make my day. I do miss the “good old” days though.

Most people seem to love their kids, but personally, I could not deal with it. I am positive I will never have children in my life, although yours sound pretty good.

I don’t have kids (am only 23!) but I think they are so adorable.

Except when they cry. Then i pass em back to their parents.

I guess all parents notice that sooner or later. What is funny, we know they will be like us because they learn from us, but we are still surprised about it :)

That was a great read. I had 2 kids at 25 and 27. Before that even though i was in love i was bored most days. Now i have plenty of time to spend with them. Even though its a lot of work i wouldn’t take it back. I love my kids with my whole heart.

    Have a good day!

Yes! Young boys are a true treasure. As Mom to one who will turn six in July and to another who just turned three late last month, I’m in constant awe of what they not only can teach each other, but what they can teach me and my husband.

They are amazing! And we too have taken to noticing what traits of us each of our sons is already showing… the biggie of late is the tendency toward perfect cleanliness in the house! Even my three year old feels it’s the right thing to do to clean up the living room before we leave the house! Too funny!

Kids when they are young are adorable and cute. After that stage is the annoying stage. Then there’s the rebellious stage. =P So treasure it while you can. Haha! Cos finally is the stage where they leave you for college and work. The cycle of life ^^

Kids develop certain habits and personality traits from either their mother or father.

You can have one child to be out going and the other very shy. When they grow up you can see them handling their own kids the way they remember going thru the same phase when they were kids.

Its good that your two kids are bonding with each other.

Interesting. Sometimes I look at my daughter and I see me but other times I see my husband. I actually prefer when I see myself in her.. ha, ha.

    Hi,

My 2 youngest kids are so close in age that it seems impossible that they will ever like each other…lol. Always fighting, arguing, and the next time you turn around they are hugging each other. I pray that they will be very tight as they get older :)

    Take care

That is a great random article. It is amazing how things so small and cute can make you so happy but still destroy your house and belongings beyond repair.

Great article. Thanks for the random thoughts of joy.

Thank you for the random thoughts and for the article.

Kids are a real joy. I thought I never wanted kids but once I had my first, I can never go back.

They are the only things in life that can really make me genuinely happy…
