It’s Actually Snowing!

3:09 pm Just Random!

So we’re finally starting to get some snow here in the valleys of Utah.  It’s a little because normally by now we’ve had several good storms but for some reason this year it just hasn’t been happening.

So how’s the snow or weather in your part of the world?  I have to admit, when it first starts snowing I really like it, maybe just for the change of season or something like that.  Then, by mid February after I’ve slipped and fallen on my butt a few times I’m tired of it.  It’s amazing how things like that will change your mind about something :-) .

The other reason that I’m glad that we’re finally getting some snow is that it actually helps me feel like it’s actually getting to be Christmas time!  I struggle feeling Christmasy until I see snow.  Don’t know why, but I’ve always been that way.

So for those of you that have snow, be safe!

I wish it would snow a little quicker here in Seattle.

It’s not as wet this year, which also means less snow. All these great mountains and skiing trails are being wasted :(

I must admit the first snow here was nice, but since I live in North Dakota the temperature is already starting to hover around 0, according to the weatherman its -14 with windchill! I’m jealous you live in utah, I have all the cold and snow, yet no hills for snowboarding of skiing like you do.

I like snow sometimes, but not when I have to clear it off my car all the time. Haven’t had much snow where I am. Might be more but I doubt it.

well so much for that snowstorm eh? I admit, I think that I’m ready for the snow to hit. It’s a little disorienting going about in short sleeves and maybe a light sweater in early December. Yeah, I’m still wearing flip flops as well, but so long as there isn’t snow on the ground, I’ll wear those in just about any temperature.

Well, here in Sydney Australia it’s getting really hot as summer’s just starting now. I wish I could see some snow at some point but can’t really complain… I guess the grass is always greener on the other side

I’m in Adelaide, Australia, where it’s meant to be summer and 100 degrees plus - today was around 60 and raining, which kinda suck.

    Never seen snow here, either!

Snow?We don’t have snow here in the Philippines. The only way we feel it Christmas, it’s when people start decorating their houses with Christmas lights, star lantern, and etc.,the cold air breeze and children singing Christmas songs. Even though we are not blessed with snow, still Christmas is getting on our way…Have a Merry Christmas.

I am living in Portugal now where it hardly ever snows (maybe a few flakes). But I miss those mornings when I was studying at UCONN and woke up to everything so white and looking so “pure”, like no other humans existed.

It’s not freezing to where I am located right now, no snow, but we are experiencing a cold weather which is unusual. I sometimes think that it’s the effect of the global warming.

I remember the days when it actually snowed continuously for weeks. This doesn’t ever seem to happen anymore… Now we come to the subject of global warming

Frankly speaking, I am fond of snow. However, I live in a city where snow is so rare! Last year, I saw beautiful and so white snow in my hometown. I was so astonished at first glance of it while getting up. I must admit it is so beautiful! It seems you like Christmas. For me, I am expecting it too. We will hold a crazy party at each Christmas. I am expecting snow!

I hope you can enjoy the snow again this year!

Here in our place its still pretty strange weather. The weather cycle seems not following the cycle at all. We should take all the necessary precaution to be safe all the time.
