I’m Liking Playlist.com!
October 7, 2008 2:23 pm Just Random!, Movies, TV and MusicSo I’ve heard about Playlist.com before, but never really messed with it. So as I’ve been exploring my musical tastes I’ve come back to the fact that I work best lately when listening to instrumental rock.
Since I don’t have a lot of instrumental rock (yet), I decided that the easiest way to listen to this kind of music was either Pandora or Playlist.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Pandora, but one thing I really like about Playlist.com is that you can choose the songs you want to listen to and just create a playlist (hence the name, clever huh?).
So now presenting to the world my Joe Satriani playlist from Playlist.com! Enjoy!

I like the playlist too,
This innovation in them to select and make your playlist is very interesting. I really like is to separate tracks and customize my research to have to stay choosing or passing one by one.

I think it’s a great tool too. I makes it nice to be able to go in and just choose the songs I want to hear and nothing more!

I like Playlist, but I still like Pandora as well. Pandora is great for finding new artists that I have not heard of yet which is similiar to the music I already like. There are so many new bands all the time this is valuable to me to sift out and find the good ones.

I think they both have their place. When I want to hear something new, I go to Pandora. If I want to hear something I know, it’s Playlist. It’s great to have both available!

Thanks for the heads up, I had not seen Playlist yet, looks like a cool site.

It’s awesome! Have fun using it!

Used this for quite a while. Heads up, some of the files will disappear and then your player will have songs that error out instead of playing.
Also, not very good for hard to find music.
After awhile i got tired of updating songs and songlists to maintain the same songs. An auto update feature would make this far more usable imo.

I ran into that problem already as well. That is one of the potential problems that I can see with Playlist, but overall it’s still a pretty cool tool!

I’m the same way. It kinda depends on the mood I’m in, but both of them are awesome.
