I Think I’m a Fan of Perfect Pushups

9:51 am Random Reviews

So the other day I finally used up the last of my birthday money and bought a pair of Perfect Pushups. I’ve seen the short ads on TV and thought that they looked to be pretty cool, but I’m not one to believe the hype. So I did some looking around, checked reviews and such, and for the most part people were giving it good, realistic reviews. So I figured, “What the hey, it’s birthday money that I’ve had for 3 months, let’s give it a try!”

This morning I did my first official workout with them and I was impressed by how it really does work your muscles differently than regular pushups. I’ve been doing pushups for the last couple of months as a way to keep getting in some exercise, but these pushups are so much better!

Maybe I’ll give a further update later, but for now I give the Perfect Pushup an A+!

What’s the difference between these and doing normal push-ups, I’m interested because I might review them on my site. Please reply to this comment and I’ll come back and check!!

    Hey Gadget Man,

Check out the official site, perfectpushup.com. Basically the handles allow you to rotate your arms when doing the motion, kinda like you do when throwing a punch. So it makes for a more engaging and natural movement.

I own a pair of Perfect Push-ups and they are pretty cool. I haven’t used them in a while, but they are better than the push-up attachment bars found on my Power Tower. They really come in handy if you don’t have room for bulky equipment, etc.

I am a huge fan of the perfect pushup! Granted, I still have a long way to go to get back in shape, but these are definitely helping.

    Great work on the post!

i have a pair of those at home. what i really love about it is the mobility it offers to the arms without having to get stuck firmly.

Been doing every possible kind of push-up for years. This looks good for a little diversity although I have my doubts if it’s better than for example the kind of push-ups where your hands are on a pair of dumbbells. This last type is really great because it makes your arm and chest muscles stabilize the movement, similar to real bench-press.

This sounds that something my clients should find out about. I don’t know if this is going to help you at all if you keep eating the sweets. Maybe you are in pretty good shape already?

If not grab a copy of this http://www.lose10poundsin2weeks.com it’s free and might come in handy?

    Graham,

I’m not in the best shape ever yet, but I’m in pretty good shape. Right now my goal would actually be to gain weight, not lose it. But I want to gain the right kind of weight!

Never seen these before, I am a big fan of body weight exercises though. I have done push ups with holding dumbells on the floor, really helps your core as you need to stabilize the movement.

Not a bad idea for a much delayed birthday present for yourself… checked out their site and saw the gadget in action… looks to be promising and seems like you can really get a total upper body workout from this… so DAN, you are looking into gaining some weight? i presume some muscle mass… you might want to check out reviews on diet plans… it could lead you the way to a leaner and healthier you!

The perfect pushup works well because the unique movement allows you to target different areas of your chest and triceps than a normal pushup. As Dan commented also, they allow you to perform a more natural pushup. However, you will still need to combine these with a couple other exercises to maximize your results.

I always do my pushups with spacing my arms varyingly to work different muscle groups. Or, more precisely, to target them differently. I like to keep my hands in a fist because I don’t like the pressure on my bent wrists. It can really hurt!

I’m guessing it holds your arms in place and gives you a good grip?

Those things are great. I have been using them every night just doing three quick sets of ten. You really can feel a difference in the way it works out your upper body and I feel a lot more in shape since I started a few weeks ago.
