I Like Guitar Hero … But Do I Like DDR Better?

1:31 pm Random Reviews

So this last weekend we got together with some old high school friends of mine and played some Guitar Hero. I’ve honestly only ever played this game once before, but I thought it was a lot of fun.

I even got my wife to play it for a bit! And she started to get the hang of it, so maybe…just maybe that’s one game that I could convince her we should get ;-) . But the question remains, do I like DDR better?

They both have their qualities. Granted, the music for Guitar Hero is a TON better than anything on DDR, but I like that with DDR you really get more active. I think that in a group setting DDR is a much funner game. But when it comes to just 2-3 people, Guitar Hero can be a lot of fun.

So in the end I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. Both are fun, but I think DDR is a better party game.

Yeah, Guitar Hero has some ‘kick ass’ music and lets people who can’t play musical instruments temporarily feel like a rock star… Metallica rules!

    Hi

I am not that game fanatic but recently I played Guitar Hero and got pretty addicted to it. The Game is pretty awesome and as I played with friends,it was more amazing. I haven’t tried DDR, looks like I am emmersing into gaming world now.

Guitar Hero is absolutely awesome. It’s funny what you said about the wife. Mine is the same, it’s the only game I’ve managed to get her to play.

I’ve never played DDR myself so it might be time to get the friends around for a session :D

I disagree with Valeri. I think that it is worth its weight now matter how much it costs. Being one up on the next guy always has a price tag, but truthfully, its invaluable. Well put, btw.

Oh, dude, definitely GH!! DDR has much less potential. You might have to move more, but you can’t do anything else. At least this is my opinion. I wonder what your wife allowed you to buy in the end! :D Can we hope for an update? Cheers, man! Bo
