Grow Your Business with a Cash Advance
August 27, 2008 11:25 am Random ReviewsGoing back to the topic of owning an online business, or really any business for that matter, there usually comes a time when it’s a good idea to get a loan in order to grow your business. This is usually a much better idea than just using a credit card since your rates will be a lot lower.
So let’s say you go in to get a loan, and the bank or lending institution turns you down. Do you have any other options? Well, one option you could look at is a business cash advance.
A business cash advance is a loan against a business’s future credit card sales. If a company accepts credit cards, there are merchant account companies that will give them money, and take a little out of each of their following credit card transaction for the next several months till it’s paid up.
Online Checks is one merchant account companie that offers these merchant cash advance programs. With them there is no credit check, and the funds are available within 72 hours. This is a great option for businesses that can’t get a traditional loan.
Of course make sure you don’t get an advance for more than you can realistically project paying back. The last thing you want to do is get an advance and then really dip into your profit more than you should.

It is indeed always a good idea to invest well with a business as well as you may resort to a loan to fund that same business but I think when it comes to loans for a start up business, I won’t approve of this.
Why? Simply because if you are starting a business and you don’t have the funds, then don’t start at all.

They offer 7% payback over 12 months. If it’s a small amount some credit cards offer 0% on balance transfers for 6-9 months. So If you keep transferring you can save money and give yourself time to pay the money back, providing your business is capable of making money. I agree with not taking out money if you are a new startup as 25% will fail in the first year and 50% in first 2 years.

I disagree with Valeri. I think that it is worth its weight now matter how much it costs. Being one up on the next guy always has a price tag, but truthfully, its invaluable. Well put, btw.

This is a great option to have when starting a business or wanting it to grow. So many times we see people get turned down with no options left and their business is not able to reach lift off. Cash advances are great, but you do have to be wise with decision making down the road.

In this economy, small businesses are finding it harder to get funding. Small business loans and cash advances are great options. Thanks for the read!

Yeah, sometimes it may be necessary to grow your business with a cash advance. Just don’t get to over your head, or else you may end up with the doors shut on that business and a big bill to show for it. Credit cards can really burn your ass if you start using one like it is free money or something. In fact, the United States of America seems to be trying to mimic a maxed out credit card, so use them as an example of what I’m trying to say. Ha-ha!
