Gotta Love a Free Steak

Don’t you just love a nice juicy steak? And even better, don’t you love it when the steak is free?
Well, today I went with some guys from the company I work for and we had lunch on the company. We went over to Macaroni Grill. I had their new Chianti steak, and man was it good!
Here’s the thing: Macaroni Grill has been on my black list of places not to eat. This was simply because they used to have these italian nachos that were to die for. Nachos are my favorite food after all
. So since then they’ve been on the black list, but now they’re off because that steak was so good.
And what’s better than a really good free steak? Not much, that’s for sure!

OK, I’m confused. Apart from the fact that I now want to eat steak and it’s only 9am, why was the Macaroni Grill on your blacklist if the nachos taste good?

I remember those nachos! I would guess the reason you blacklisted Macaroni Grill is because the nachos were so good that you couldn’t resist if you went in there, but you knew you would weigh about 400 pounds by now if you didn’t blacklist the restaurant completely. I think they had about 2000 calories per serving. Am I close?

I disagree with Valeri. I think that it is worth its weight now matter how much it costs. Being one up on the next guy always has a price tag, but truthfully, its invaluable. Well put, btw.

Hell, yeah! A free steak is something to love. I’ve never had a Chianti steak, but I really enjoy thick-cut rib-eye steak! Sirloin and New York Strip are also decent. I like to marinade it with Italian Dressing and Worcestershire sauce… Yummy!
