Getting Your Credit Started

7:16 am Random Reviews

I’m not a big fan of going into debt, but in today’s society it seems like you have to carry a little bit of debt if you ever want to be able to get a home or car loan.  So if you’re the type of person that has no credit, what can you do to get it started?

Well, something that I’ve always been told is to just get a simple credit card, use it to pay a few bills, and then just make sure that you pay off the balance every month.  This way you can build up a credit history so that you can get those bigger loans down the road.  Just don’t give into the temptation to use it for debt and you’ll be good.

So if you’re looking to get your first credit card, check this site for a bunch of offers and deals: credit-card-analyzer.com.  On this site you can compare offers from different companies, different cards from the same company, and see the different types of cards that are available.  With all the different options out there these days it’s nice to have a resource like this that you can turn to.

This site is especially useful if you’re just getting started with your credit.  They compare the different cards for you and tell you which ones are the best for different circumstances.  So check it out!

Thanks for writing about getting credit card started. For sure keep it simple. Keep the balance low and don’t let it get out of hand.

You know it is a strange thing that in order to qualify for credit, you have to be in debt. Don’t think that you can get rid of all your debts and remain debt free completely, then apply for something like a loan or mortgage after a few years and get a good rate. You’ll be treated exactly like someone who has bad credit.

Credit cards are great - but just use it wisely. You can get into debt quickly, as both my wife and I have found.

But we managed to pay them off.

actually the best way i’ve found to raise your credit score is to leave a small balance on your credit cards each month, instead of paying it off completely. example: if you have a $500 limit and charge $300 to it, pay off $250 and leave $50 on there

I am a college student and have just relized that building a good credit score is massivly important. When you go to get a loan for a car or house you need to have some way of proving your credibility. If youve gotten into trouble with debt you will need to work with some credit rerair firms to fix your credit.
