Getting the Feeling the Spring is Almost Here

6:35 am Random Gripings

As you may well know, I’m sick of winter… But I’m getting the feeling that spring is almost here.

How can I tell?  Because I feel like my allergies are coming early!  I get hay fever just about every year, but usually it doesn’t hit until May, and then again in late July or early August.  But for some reason this year as soon as it started to get warm I started to sneeze a little bit more than normal.  Granted, this is not full on hay fever, but it’s reminding me of one of the things I don’t like about spring and summer….

I’m beginning to realize that I don’t have a favorite season.  I know a lot of people do, but I guess I’m not one of those people…  Oh well!

Nooo….I recently moved to New York from California when I got an new job opportunity here. I was hoping for some real heavy snow so that I could hop on snow board. But so far not much snow this side!

Well, here in Montreal, we have HUGE snow banks everywhere. We’ve been getting like 20 cm of snow every week for like 2 months. Yes, I can’t wait for spring to arrive, this winter has been brutal!

Spring still feels like light years away for me. But in SC it goes from 50 in the morning to 75 in the evening day after day. The only time you’re SURE of the season here is in mid summer when it’s sweltering :(

I’m starting to get bummed. I’m here in Arizona and am counting down the days from when our 75 - 85 degree weather is going to turn into 100+. Not a fun thought. Haaa

Winter hasn’t been too bad for us. We have been inside all cozy, and not up north where the real cold is also helps. :)

Spare a thought for us poor souls here in the UK. We ususally have both terrible summers and winters, especially last year with all the flooding.
