Feel the Need for Speed!

9:58 am Just Random!

Are you the kind of guy that loves to go fast?  I’m not much of a car guy, but I can still appreciate a really nice ride.  I’ll see theses decked out cars driving down the road and honestly, I wouldn’t mind having one!  Especially something with a turbo charger…that would be sweet!

So I came across this site, TurboChargerPros.com, and I’d say that if you’re looking for a way to turbocharge your car, check these guys out.  Just think, if you turbocharged your car you could accelerate quicker to get ahead of some slowpoke on the freeway, or get out of the way of something if you needed to.

Whether you need an Audi turbocharger or Volkswagen turbocharger, these guys can help you out.

I drive a crappy old Honda, probably won’t be putting a turbo in that, but my little brother keeps trying to convince me to!

    OEM Replacement Parts Reply:

Turbocharger or supercharger, any of which can really add power to your car. The key difference between a turbocharger and a supercharger is its power supply. Something has to supply the power to run the air compressor. In a supercharger, there is a belt that connects directly to the engine. It gets its power the same way that the water pump or alternator does. A turbocharger, on the other hand, gets its power from the exhaust stream. The exhaust runs through a turbine, which in turn spins the compressor.

Just use OEM parts as you decide if you would go for turbocharger or supercharger.

I don’t know if I can afford to turbocharge my car. Doesn’t that make it consume more gas?

    best air hockey table Reply:

Several types of Air Hockey game Tables have emerged over the years; some geared towards children and families, while others are built to withstand the brutal frustration of bar-room air hockey battles. Though, let’s hope the Air Hockey Table escalations never reach those seen in actual ice hockey games.

Turbo charging your car will definitely eat more fuel….I have a beemer Z4…that’s all the speed you need and the fuel consumption is not bad. It really is the ultimate car for cruzin.

If you just want to feel the need for speed there are a lot of sports car for hire. There’s also a hi speed limo for hire like the ferrari 360 modena. You don’t need to modify your own car.

You want speed, try getting on a hayabusa turbo. 500+bhp and power to weight ratio that is just scary. Nothing like power wheelies at 140+

Turbo charging is at least a bit more fuel efficient than going up to larger displacement.

But if you make your car faster, you should also be looking into making it handle better, and stop better.

Had a bunch of Hoon friends in Albuquerque that would dump tons of cash into their engines and exhaust, but nothing else.

It was always kinda scary riding around with them…

Turbocharging your vehicle may also needs to fit your lifestyle. If your a sporty one then go get it, if none then don’t bother about it.

Modifying your car may cost more aside from gas. I’d prefer my car with no modifications on engine parts. I’m already happy with it :)

For me, I’ll buy high speed car directly than modifying it to run fast to lessen the cost of course :)

If the modification/result is good then it’s worth a try for me.

It does consume more fuel, and you need to change some more settings because the engine power is being increased.

It’s pricey, and with the gas prices this high, I’ll rather skip it.

Sure I prefer turbo charger as opposed to supercharger because the response is much better. You can feel the power kick in an instant.

Thanks, for this article. I think that having a turbocharger would truely increase the speed of your car, but would probably use more gas.

I disagree with Valeri. I think that it is worth its weight now matter how much it costs. Being one up on the next guy always has a price tag, but truthfully, its invaluable. Well put, btw.
