Any Plans for this Summer?

So now that we’re officially in June, have you thought about any plans that you have coming up for this summer?
I don’t know about you, but we’re probably going to take it pretty easy this year. We even cancelled on a big summer trip that my wife’s family usually makes up to Bear Lake, Utah. We’ve been telling them for a couple of years now that we probably won’t come every time, but this year we finally decided to live up to that statement. Naturally they weren’t too happy with the idea, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!
I remember as a kid our tradition was that every summer we would go down to Lake Powell, Utah and spend a week there. If you’ve never been to Lake Powell and you live here in the West you should totally go sometime! Some of the most beautiful desert scenery you’ll ever see, and if you’re willing to wake up at 6am to go water skiing you’ll be on perfect glass.
So what are some of your traditional vacation spots? Are you going this year?

Denver. Already went and came back.
Plan on going out to Dana Point, CA for a wedding, which will be a bit more expensive.

I believe in “when in the Rome, do as the Romans Do” so I enjoy everything. I wake up early in the morning if needed. To be very true, that is the best part I always enjoy to wake up in the calm atmosphere. No Plans for this summer though.

As far as I’m concerned, body kits are the mother lode of customization. It’s nice to add a spoiler, a dash kit, tinted windows, a souped-up stereo or hot new wheels but a body kit is the real showstopper! If you want your car to turn heads and be truly unique the body kit is the way to go… period.

I just plan to enjoy the sun.
My family likes to walk along the Hudson River in the summer. You can walk all the way from the George Washington Bridge down to the West Village, and there are ample people-watching opportunities along the nice riverside parks in NYC.

Our family just wants to move closer to the Ocean and spend 1-2 weeks lying on the beach and eating ice cream. My kids are especially fond of surfing and we are the parents that make their dreams come true.

Living in Tennessee. I don’t have much options for enjoying time by the ocean. But I do plan on enjoying a lot of tranquility time by Kentucky Lake which isn’t very far from where I live. I plan on bringing a tent, a fishing pole and a pillow. no need for food as I like to ruff it when I go camping. No bringing the kitchen sink lol.

As a kid, the trips I remember most were to Myrtle Beach. We’re going to take our kids there (age 6 and 4) this month, but the wife and I have decided we have to stop the vacations for awhile. We just can’t afford it.
It seems like something you really want to give the kids, but we’ve reached a point where we’ll have to go into debt, unless something changes, to go next year. It will be sad.

I did some marketing in Utah and I fell in love with that place! Def. one of the best place to go if your into skiing, hot springs, and just great outdoors activities!

I’d recommend South of France, esp. Plan de la Tour. Very pretty french country side village, close to everything (Saint Tropez, etc), but at the same time very peaceful. Paradise for mountainbiking!

There are a number of wicked places one can visit at any time of the season. All that they have to be great at is there research. For instance, one can visit the great Galapagos islands and go scuba diving with the ancient and enormous blue whales. Or you could take a trip to Asia, towards Indonesia and Malaysia and dive into their warm hospitality. These are places which I personally have visited and a great fan off to.. I am always on the outlook to find places which haven’t been earthed by people. The fun in that matches no other vacationing.

San Francisco, California is where I go every summer! I’m lucky enough to live about an hour away from this wonderful city. Where I live it averages 90-100 degrees everyday in the Summer. But, if I drive about an hour to San Francisco, the temperature is always at least 20-30 degrees cooler than where I live.

In the summer weather, I would highly suggest Lake isabella or Sequoia Mountain over in California (thats if you are willing to make the trip over). It has about the same amount of activities as Utah, but its a different scenary.

Hey guys i don’t know if you are planning to visit Europe during the summer, but check Serbia, especially town called Novi Sad. Over there in june and july its crazy. A lot of theater, cinema and music festivals.

I’m getting married in June so I’m vacationing in Maui for two weeks for our honeymoon. I’ve been to Maui one other time as well as Oahu.
My future husband and I also have family in Las Vegas and Arizona so we’ll probably head out there for a mini vaca in August.

The only summer school holiday , is I got sat down by English teacher to read all the books as part of my English studies, I was a foreigner them, since that reading and writing was like bread and butter everyday, and improve my fast reading skill and writing, long way back when I was a boy at age 10 years old in Monterey , California, at La Mesa School.

You know what they say about the seasons in Michigan, “There are two seasons, winter and the 4th of July”. Well, I’m going back to a Family Reunion in Lapeer Michigan on July 4th. This year it falls on a Monday which is really nice for the three or four day weekend. Looking forward to seeing family I haven’t seen it quite some time. Can’t wait!!
