Any Plans for this Summer?

7:42 pm Just Random!

So now that we’re officially in June, have you thought about any plans that you have coming up for this summer?

I don’t know about you, but we’re probably going to take it pretty easy this year.  We even cancelled on a big summer trip that my wife’s family usually makes up to Bear Lake, Utah.  We’ve been telling them for a couple of years now that we probably won’t come every time, but this year we finally decided to live up to that statement.  Naturally they weren’t too happy with the idea, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!

I remember as a kid our tradition was that every summer we would go down to Lake Powell, Utah and spend a week there.  If you’ve never been to Lake Powell and you live here in the West you should totally go sometime!  Some of the most beautiful desert scenery you’ll ever see, and if you’re willing to wake up at 6am to go water skiing you’ll be on perfect glass.

So what are some of your traditional vacation spots?  Are you going this year?

Denver. Already went and came back.

Plan on going out to Dana Point, CA for a wedding, which will be a bit more expensive.

Not a fan of waking up at 6 AM, however, no matter where I am.

Doesn’t feel like summer here. Low 60’s and raining? Whats going on!

As far as I’m concerned, body kits are the mother lode of customization. It’s nice to add a spoiler, a dash kit, tinted windows, a souped-up stereo or hot new wheels but a body kit is the real showstopper! If you want your car to turn heads and be truly unique the body kit is the way to go… period.

My family likes to walk along the Hudson River in the summer. You can walk all the way from the George Washington Bridge down to the West Village, and there are ample people-watching opportunities along the nice riverside parks in NYC.

Just a wonderful way to spend a sunny summer day.

It seems like something you really want to give the kids, but we’ve reached a point where we’ll have to go into debt, unless something changes, to go next year. It will be sad.

In fact, many of those who visit Koh Samui once are hooked for life and some never leave. hi,,!!very nice title.in my opinion:-internships are great. It might be a bit late to find one at this point, though. As far as where to start, it depends what field you want to go into. After that, look online or contact local businesses in the field you’re interested in working in, and see what you can find.thanks for the post.

If you’re ever thinking of visiting Europe for the summer then I’d recommend a few days in Arcachon, on the Atlantic Coast of France.

Before moving to Switzerland recently, we lived in Arcachon for 3 years. We’ve put some of our photos and tourist information together for anyone interested in visiting this beautiful seaside resort.
