So last night my wife and I finally saw Incredible Hulk (Widescreen Edition)
. I’ll say this, it was definitely better than the other Hulk movie that came out a few years ago. That one was lame.
This one was definitely better. The storyline was better, the action was better, but I’m not sure that the acting was much better. I mean, Edward Norton is a great actor, but it seemed like this part was kinda flat. Granted, he was probably told to play it that way, but I felt the character of Bruce Banner was a little weak in this one.
That and I thought Liv Tyler was kinda whiney throughout the whole thing.
I still liked it, but there are a few things that could have been much, much better.

I have to first admit that I don’t really care much for Halloween. Sure, it was fun as a kid to go around and get a bunch of candy, but after those years were over I lost interest. But, there are some great memories that come from Halloween!
Trick or Treating
Here’s a tip for the kids: rollerblades! We hit so many houses so fast when we did it this way! It’s the best way to get around the neighborhood in a hurry and still look good in your halloween costumes. Just be careful that you don’t have one that’s too long or you might trip on it
Company Costume Days
About 6 years ago I worked for a company that really encouraged departments to dress up in themes. One department was a group of pirates with their gold ‘booty’ (gold chocolate coins). I can’t remember any of the other ones, but my department was Richard Simmons and his Fat Cronies!
Totally not politically correct, but when did I ever care about that anyway? So we had the skinniest guy in the group dress up like Richard Simmons and then the rest of us wore sweats and stuffed them so we looked massively fat. Then we’d all work out together following Richard’s lead. It was a lot of fun!
For the Kids
Now I just do it for the kids. It’s really cute to dress the kids up and see them get brave knocking on doors to ask for candy.
Have a great and safe Halloween! If you need a good costume, check out HalloweenAdventure.com for some great costumes!

I should probably first say this up front: I’m not really a dog guy. Sure, they’re fine and all, but I really don’t think I’ll ever own one. They smell, they make a mess, and generally destroy everything. I’ve honestly always been more of a cat person.
Now, normally I don’t have a problem with people that own dogs. But for some reason all of the ones in my condo complex a bunch of disrespectful idiots.
As with most condo complexes, we have sort of a common area with a lot of grass that normally you can play on. But instead it has become the dog poop zone. Every morning that’s where all the dog owners go and let their animals do their thing. And then don’t pick it up!
So can I play with my kids on the grass? NO! I’m too worried that they’re going to step in poop, or even worse pick it up!
It’s sort of a new complex, so we don’t really have an HOA yet, but once we do I’m going to be filing some complaints.
So please, if you’re a dog owner, PICK UP YOUR DOG’S CRAP!!!

Skin care products really seem to be popular right now. I know that my wife uses them quite a bit, and sometimes she’ll go from one product to another trying to find a product that works well for her.
I found this site that has some really high quality stuff. It’s called iDerma.com. Based on what I’ve read on their About Us page they really do put a lot of time and energy into making sure that they are only offering the best products.
Kinda random I know, but that’s the point of this blog! So if you are looking for some new, good skin care proudcts, check out iDerma!

I’m a big fan of chips and salsa, or really just about anything with salsa. What do you expect, my favorite food is nachos after all!
But I also like trying different kinds of salsa. In fact, there is this Mexican restaurant up in Salt Lake City that has a salsa bar with like 8-10 different types of salsa, all of them good!
Anyway, the other day at the grocery store we decided to buy some salsa, and I ended up getting a mango & peach salsa. I was a little hesitant at first cause I don’t really like mangoes, and peach salsa sounded kinda weird. In fact, I was swayed by my wife to get it because she loves both of those fruits and so I was hoping she would try some.
Well, what can I say, that is one good salsa!
I’ve also had raspberry salsa before, and that was really good, too. There’s something about fruit in salsas that just makes them good!
So do you have a favorite kind of salsa? Share below!

So a friend of mine recently has been complaining because he keeps getting some sort of database error from time to time on his blog. I can understand his frustration!
Hosting is a huge deal when it comes to starting a website or really doing anything online. And sadly, there are a lot of unreliable hosts out there. That’s why it’s always a good idea to do some research and checking out different hosts through some good webhost reviews before you just sign up for some company your friend told you about!
That’s why it’s a good thing that companies like Web Hosting Geeks are around. They’ll go through and do the research and give you suggestions on who the best web hosts are. This can save you a lot of time and a lot of headache!
I’ve actually talked to tons of people that at one point or another were very unhappy with their webhost, and most of the time when i ask them who their host is it’s some company that I’ve never even heard of before.
Another cool thing about Web Hosting Geeks is that they have a webhosting blog that you can subscribe to that will keep you up to date on everything going on in the hosting world. It’s good to keep up to date!
So if you’re in the market for a new webhost, check out some of the companies that are being reviewed at Web Hosting Geeks. You might just save yourself from pain later :).

As many of you probably know, at least if you’re read this blog at all, I’m a fan of the energy drinks Rockstar and Monster. Now admittedly, I only drink 1-2 a week, but even then I feel like I need to cut back. Anyway, this morning was a little different.
You see, usually i’ll buy these when they are like 2 for $3 or something like that because I don’t believe in spending the full $2 or $3 for one. But this morning at my local grocery store none of my favorites were going for that price.
But there was one going on sale at 10 for $10. I figured, “What the heck, I’ll try the $1 energy drink and see how it is!” So I looked them over and picked up a Wired energy drink, some berry flavor.
All I can say is that I’m sticking with Monster and Rockstar! This stuff really didn’t taste that good. I think it has potential, but it tasted too much like a regular energy drink with just a hint of other flavor. The reason that I like some of the Monster and Rockstar flavors so much is that they don’t taste like your regular energy drinks!
So I’m sticking with my Monster Khaos and my Rockstar NoCarb for now. At least until I kick the habit entirely, which I honestly need to do….

Have you ever been riding a bus, driving, flying in a plane, sitting in an airport, and had a really good idea that you wanted to get down but didn’t have enough time to do it? Or maybe you have a voice recorder that you used to record some good ideas but didn’t want to have to go through and transcribe the whole thing so that you could actually publish it.
Well, enter again the voice recognition software Dragon Naturally Speaking! As I check this thing out I’m finding out that there are more and more uses for it.
There are so many times that I’ll be driving somewhere and have a really good idea for a blog post or something like that, and if I just had a digital voice recorder and a transcribing software I could do blog posts as I drive! But I’ve never really known of a good way to do it. Now I do.
In fact, I may have to seriously give this one some good thought. Especially for posts on this blog with it’s random nature, it would be very easy to just record things here and there, even if it’s just an idea for a full post later.
So anyway, if you can think of some other uses for this product, share them below. You can also read Dragon reviews or take Dragon’s typing speed test! if you have any doubts of the power of this product.
And, in case you missed it, here’s their demo video:

Everyone loves a good Peanut Butter & Jelly (PBJ) sandwich! But what is the best jelly to use on your PBJ?
Talk about a random topic right? Well, for the last couple of years I’ve always been using something like strawberry. It was pretty good. But then we ran out of strawberry jam and my wife bought some grape jelly.
At first I thought, “Oh no! What have you done?! What about the strawberries?!” But I figured, “Oh well, I used to use grape as a kid, we’ll try it out again.”
Well, now I’m officially reconverted to grape jelly as the jelly of choice for my PBJ’s. Maybe my hint should have been that it’s a peanut butter and JELLY sandwich, not JAM. There’s something about the grape that it just seems to mix better with the peanut butter. Strawberry just wasn’t strong enough…and now I know!
So what is your favorite flavor of jam or jelly to put on a PBJ?

Personally, I’m a contacts wearer. But I’ve also gone through my time of wearing regular glasses as well. Actually, to be completely honest, I tend to go through phases every couple of years where I prefer one or the other. Right now though I’m on a contacts kick.
Anyway, I was at the eye doctor’s office a week or two ago picking up my contacts, and this lady came in to pay for her glasses. Guess how much she had to pay? $400!!! Now, I’m not sure how many frames she got or any other details, but they get expensive!
That’s why it’s great to have companies like ZenniOptical.com that sell quality glasses really cheap. They just recently introduced a couple of new styles as well, so their offerings just keep on growing.
And they’re getting talked about all over the place! I guess they’ve been featured on Fox News, and The Clark Howard Show. Not bad for a company that just sells inexpensive eyeglasses.
So if you need some new glasses, this is one site you’re going to want to check out. They have a really good selection of eyeglasses for men and women. You can get metal ones, stainless steel, or plenty of other choices as well.
