I don’t think I’ve ever really been to a baseball game. I know that probably sounds really sad, but its true. I played coach pitch a little bit when I was a kid, but that’s all the interaction I’ve had with baseball.
But tonight we’re going to a local league game. And I’m actually excited to go, I think we’ll have a good time. I guess we’ll find out once the game is going…
Honestly, I’m mainly a soccer fan. It’s about the only sport that I can watch for more than an hour and not really get bored. We have a local MLS team in Utah (Real Salt Lake) that I need to go see sometime, but I haven’t made it a priority yet.

I used to be in denial about stress. In fact, I used to always say to people, “I don’t really get stressed.” Now I realize that I was just in denial. I was feeling plenty of stress, but didn’t know how to recognize it. Now that I know how to recognize I feel that I also deal with it a lot better.
The fact is that stress affects everybody. In one way or another, we can all get hit by it at any time. So it’s nice that there are products out there like AbsoluteCalm that can naturally help you to reduce your stress level.
One of the main ingredients is Magnolia Extract, which is apparently one of the few herbs that has a great response to stress in a short period of time. And, its 100% natural and safe according to the AbsoluteCalm website.
I think that a lot of people could use something like this. I mean seriously, how many people get road rage or other dumb things just because they’re stressed? A lot of us are working really long hours and have a lot of demand on our time. Maybe this type of product is right for you! Check it out and find out - who knows, you might have found something that really can help you calm down.

Well, I know that my reviews are really never all that deep. Mainly because I’d hate to give the whole movie away. Well, this one is going to be no exception.
I know that a lot of people have thought that this movie was really lame for one reason or another. My wife and I actually liked it! I liked it mainly because it was a different take on super heroes. It wasn’t just the standard ‘I got (fill in the blank) by some radioactive (fill in the blank) and now I can (fill in the blank)” that so many other super hero movies fall into. (Batman being the wonderful exception of course to this formula
).
Well, I don’t want to give anything away, but I liked that way that the back story in this one worked out. I think that it could have been developed a little further, and it is by no means a great movie, but I still liked it.

At least usually…
You have to admit - there’s something special about Fridays. I think that for a lot of people it’s one of the best days of the week, or at least of the work week. I know for me, I’m usually in a much better mood on Fridays than I am on other days.
I’m sure there are plenty of reasons for this, whether its the anticipation of the weekend, or just the fact that you’re done with another work week. No matter what it is, I’ll take it!
So today is definitely one of those Fridays, so far it’s just turning out to be a happy day. I hope yours turns out well also!

Something my wife and I have always wanted to do together is go to Hawaii or some other place like that, and then while there rent a sports car or convertible and just drive around in paradise.
Doesn’t that sound like fun? Just writing about it is honestly making me want to do it again…
So what’s the good news? You can totally do that these days! You can go to a car rental place and usually get good deals on nice cars. In fact, I hear that Advantage Rent A Car is running a promotion right now where you can rent convertibles and luxury cars for 50% off! Maybe I should consider doing our trip sometime soon while the deal lasts…

Ever since I was a kid I loved Trix. So for our anniversary one of the presents that my wife got me was a box of Trix! Not a bad present, I haven’t had this stuff for years.
The crazy thing about Trix is that I could honestly eat a whole box in one sitting. They really just aren’t that filling, but they sure are good!
What’s really crazy is that I used to eat this kind of cereal when I was growing up. Some of my other favorites included Cap’n Crunch Crunch Berries, Froot Loops, etc. I like a few of the ‘healthier’ ones like Chex, Rice Krispies, and Corn Flakes, but for the most part I loved the sugar cereals. But then again, what kid didn’t? But what do I eat for breakfast now a days? Bran Flakes. Does that mean I’m getting old, because I actually like Bran Flakes?

Personally, I’m a contacts wearer, but every now and then I go through a phase that I get really sick of contacts and just wear glasses for a while. The last time I went through this phase was about 2 years ago.
Finding a good-looking pair of glasses is harder than it seems. In fact, I don’t know that I’ve ever been really happy with a set of frames that I’ve purchased. And they can get pricey sometimes, too! But I came across a site called zennioptical.com that has some really great prices on frames.
They way they keep their prices so low is that they only sell their own manufactured frames direct to the customer, with no middlemen and virtually no advertising budget. So hey, if you’re looking for some new frames I’d check them out!

There are a lot of strange ’sports’ in the world, and honestly watching NASCAR is one that I just don’t understand. I just don’t see the fun in watching cars go round and round and round a track all day long. Sounds pretty boring to me…
On the other hand, I’m sure that it would be a BLAST to be driving one of those cars. So maybe NASCAR is one of those things that you have to actually be participating in it to truly get a kick out of it. Kinda like golf. I can’t watch golf on TV, I get bored out of my mind. But playing it, it’s a blast!
So if you’ve never driven a race car before, what is the appeal of NASCAR? I honestly just don’t get it. Can anyone enlighten me on the subject?

I just thought this was interesting. I’m still back and forth on the whole stem cell thing, but my main concerns in the past have been with how they were thinking about collecting them. Well, here’s an interesting press release on the subject:
Taking Control: Future Therapies for a Host of Serious Diseases May Be Found in Women’s Menstrual Blood
July 07, 2008: 01:28 PM EST
OLDSMAR, Fla., July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — With today’s hectic lifestyle, where most women are juggling careers, family, relationships, and a host of activities, the idea of possibly facing a serious illness in the future is not something that readily comes to mind — especially when a woman is in the prime of her life. But what most women don’t know, is that the key to treating a number of possibly life-threatening diseases that she, a parent, a sibling or even her children may face in later years, such as osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, may be found within her own body — in vital stem cells, which can now be harvested from her own menstrual blood.
Now, thanks to the revolutionary research and technology of C’elle, a service dedicated to providing women with a safe and easy method of collecting and preserving stem cells found in her menstrual fluid each month, even the busiest woman can take control of her future, right in the privacy of her own home. With C’elle’s non-invasive collection process, menstrual cells are processed and cryo-preserved (stored at a very low temperature) for potential cellular therapies that may be used in the future. These self-renewing cells one day may even be used for sports medicine or cosmeceutical treatments, such as anti-aging therapies.
“C’elle enables and empowers a woman to take control of her future health, and possibly of those genetically closest to her, in a fast, painless and stress free way,” said Michelle Kay, Marketing and Sales Manager for C’elle. “We live in exciting times, as science and technology are discovering how extremely valuable menstrual blood stem cells really are, and the enormous treatment potential they represent for future therapies. C’elle’s ongoing research is supporting these promising findings.”
